It's that time again. We put our school books away until mid-summer, (we take our summer break in Spring when the sun won't melt our retinas), and I work hard to promote my portrait business. And guess what? In order to round up a few orders while we are taking a break from school, I've decided to host another giveaway.
I've done this in the past and with great success, I might add. I felt a little wonky the first time, but after reading how many of you really liked the idea, I thought I would continue to do this every once in awhile.
Here's the dealio for this particular giveaway:
To enter, I would love a little free advertising on your blog. This is how I did it the first time and really all I am looking for is a few lines letting your readers know about this giveaway. And then link to this particular post so they can find it several days from now.
Then link up to Mr. Linky at the bottom of this post with your post. Get me? That way I can go around and say hi. If you don't have a blog, just leave me a comment specifically telling me you want in. Then next Wednesday, May 7, I'll pick a winner via the random number picker.
Now. To the giveaway specifics. I am giving away one custom portrait in pencil of a loved one of yours. I suppose you don't have to love them, but who wants to waste a giveaway on someone you don't love? It will have to be limited to one person in the portrait. I know that puts a cramp on you mothers with multiple gremlins, but maybe someone has a birthday coming up? And yes, the Canadians can enter this time. I will just have to suck it up and pay your postage because I lurve my Canadian readers, too. But that's as far as I can go this time, Other International Peeps. Sorry!
If you win, you will email me a jpeg file of a photo and I'll let you know if it will work for a drawing. Then before I send it off, I'll email you a preview for your approval. Something like that.

Rhea: Yeah, we homeschool. But I don't bring it up much because that's better left to the professionals.
I used to think people who home schooled were freaks (sorry!) but I have totally changed my point of view lately. I actually think it's pretty awesome now.
