Station Break: A Guide To This Blog

Carrie's Handy Dandy Guide to This Madness

I write about a lot more than gremlins on here. You might not have realized it, so I thought I'd put together a nice list for those of you who are new around here and those of you who are not and just didn't feel like searching through my categories. Join me.

Every week (almost) I post a Letter From Your Friendly Cashier. This is my therapy from dealing with the sometimes unfriendly sea of humanity at my cashier job three nights a week.

I also write music and mostly I just perform at my church, but someday I hope to record a CD. In the meantime, I've made a few wonky Youtube videos so I'll have my music recorded somewhere. A few of them have been on this blog. You can find them under the Music category mixed in with some of my other thoughts on the subject.

Artsy Fartsy is another place you can find me pontificating about drawing, music and other art related drivel.

I've done a few special series over the past year.

Look What I Found is mostly a series of posts concerning some really old stuff I found in a tub. You might like that. Trust me. Especially if you grew up in the 80's. I throw posts about other weird stuff I find in there as well. It's usually something fascinating.

Headlines: My Way is a few of my thoughts on magazine covers and the standards women put on themselves that drive me crazy.

Grandma Diana is a collection of posts about Charlie's mom. She'll crack you up. She's Hispanic, she's eccentric, she's one of a kind.

Carrie in Connecticut is all about my crazy 4 day trip to meet blogger Hallie from the rubber room. If you've ever been to her blog, you'll love to see the other side of her.

Sometimes I'm Serious is where I put stuff when I put the comedy aside for a few moments and let my other side come out. There's a deep thinker in there somewhere. This is evidence of that.

And don't forget about Jackelope's category. Yeah, he's a gremlin, but a very unique one and you might get a kick reading about his antics.

Those are just some of the more prominent categories. There's a whole lot of nonsense floating inbetween here and there. But I'll let you explore that for yourself. Just click on the Scattegories tab on the left sidebar and peruse to your heart's content. I will warn you however, that all the categories might not be represented there and my apologies for that. Sometimes wonky things happen around here and if I spent all day fixing them, I'd never get to the good stuff. Like nachos with black olives.

Here are some of the more popular posts according to my Feed Burner stats:

I Think I Found My Color
Monitos!
Build A Cake
The Byproduct of Portable Ice Cream
So I Married A Weirdo
What Exactly Do the 80's Smell Like?

This post will remain a permanent fixture up at the top of my sidebar for easy access when you get confused. Thank you for reading. It warms my heart that anyone wants to read my stuff at all. It gets me through the day.

Now, go forth and conquer.

I love all of your posts, girl.

I agree with rhea, this is a great idea for those that want to navigate your blog. You're so organized.

I don't even label my posts because I am so random.
