Charlie and I often ask this to one of the gremlins. If you have gremlins, you'll know what I'm talking about. One morning, one of them will get up and make their presence known and you do a double take.
Lately, it's been this one. She's 9 1/2 going on 25. You know how it is with girls.
Only she's not really into Hannah Montana and Taylor Swift. She scoffs at fads and does her own thing. She watches lectures on French art with her dad while I'm off playing the friendly cashier at night. She is a snail breeding expert. She can act out multiple characters with ease.
And she's sick to death of me and my camera. But can you blame me for wanting to take her picture all the time?? She's honest, real, gutsy, unique and that's what makes a good photograph. Even this face, I love.
And yeah, I love this one too, but Geez A Lou, could he get out of the shot every once in awhile?
She's not always easy. And that's because she's got too much of me in her. She may be getting close to my size 11's, but she's still got a ways to go.
And I don't want her getting there too fast.

She's gorgeous. No wonder you like taking her picture! She really is growing up, even online, I can tell! :)
I love her 'no mom, not another photo' shot.
I think her feet are bigger than mine! and thank goodness she's not into Hannah Montana.
She really is gorgous and sounds like the most terrific young lady! As I wait to find out if I am having a girl of my own or (ugh) yet another boy, your daughter makes me long for one even more!
(Sorry unborn child if you are boy but I've just had soooo much poppy talk and sword fights)
Such awesome shots -- you'll be so GLAD you took these down the road!
Sigh. They DO grow overnight!
She's beautiful; breathtaking!
Cool & beautiful. You've got your hands full, Mama!
Lectures on French art. Really?
